NEXT BUNCO!
Alrighty then...it looks like June 12th at Staci's is it for the next Bunco! Wine & Cheese being the theme. Will email ya'll with details, etc.

WHAT A PARTY!!
Hey ladies!! WOW! May Bunco may have been the funnest yet! First and foremost, I need to be unlike my usual self and get mushy for a minute. I have to say, I am SOOO flippin blessed to be able to surround myself with such amazing ladies. I just wish I could do it more than once a month! Y'all (work with me here, I'm tryin' to lose the Joyzey talk! lol) are such lovely and inspiring women. We all get along effortlessly and it seems even when we stick some newbies in the group, it just continues. So on that note, (sniff sniff), thanks all of you for being such sweet gals!!
Also, a loud and very cheerful welcome to Laurie and Jennie who injected some additional new fun into the group! I think this was the biggest turn out so far. It was also a pleasure to have Sandra, Monica's mom, join for a visit too! I wish she could live nearby so she could come monthly as well :)
So, I know y'all (hehe, I LUV using that little Texas phrase!!) wanted to get that yummy recipe Cherie brought - Brie Encroute. Sounds so fancy too doesn't it? Well, here's a link:

Props to Cherie for bringing that and props to Paula Deen for her delicious recipe! ALL the food was beyond yummy and of course, let's not forget about the magical and mystical abilites of that "Shizzle"! lol WOW was that potent!
Also, our new bud Laurie is an amazing and gifted photographer. I had the pleasure of checking out her website earlier and my breath was taken away. Gooorgeous pictures ohmigosh! Check it out when you have a chance. You won't be disappointed.

May Bunco!
Hey ladies! I sent out an email earlier about the May Bunco so make sure to check your emails and get back to me on the proposed date. If you haven't checked your email yet, the next proposed date is Saturday, May 15th. Please let me know as soon as possible either way if you plan on attending. Hope to have a huge crowd this time!! :)

April Bunco!
Hey y'all! As you likely know by now, we are going to try and have another Bunco next Saturday. If you haven't yet, please check your emails and get back to me on whether or not you will be able to attend. Our little group is growing and since we had SO much fun last time, I think the more the merrier! :) If you gals are up for it, perhaps this time we can do a little "theme" night...since Spring is in the air, I think we can go with that theme. What that means in terms of food and our attire though is basically clueless to me so I have enlisted Kelli D. as my "official" Ms. Creative go-to for assistance in this area. I will update on the definition of "SPRING" in terms of food, etc. once she is able to enlighten my complete creatively barren mind....lol Enjoy and have a safe and happy weekend my chicas!! ;)

Welcome everyone!!
First, let me thank ALL of you for coming to my first Bunco gathering this past Saturday! SOO much stinkin' fun!! I hope y'all had as much fun as I did if not more ;)
SO much I want to cover and at the same time, I really don't want to ramble SO, I will start off this fun little blog by giving a quick run down (especially for those of you who couldn't make it! - and by the way, we MISSED U!) of what went down at our girl's night on Saturday night....
Partay started at 7 with lots of snazzy ladies showing up with food in hand! This time everyone was asked to bring either an appetizer or dessert. Needless to say, there were copious amounts of food (burp!)and it was all ridiculously yummy. Maybe a little too yummy! lol
We all nibbled away as we quickly got to know each other. I think it was obvious to all that it was a great group of gals cuz we all sat around gabbing a bit before we headed up to play the game. After much extensive research in this area though (lol), I have learned that most Bunco parties do sit and eat first before hittin' the dice anyhow. Not that we are trying to follow any rules per say but I'm just sayin'...
So, after a few drinks (we had wine & a martini called "Candyshop"!)and some food, we headed upstairs to try our hands at this dicey little game. Now, props go to my bud Kelli who was able to make us all understand how to play the darn game cuz gosh knows that if you even had so much as a sip of that martini, the brain was just going in s l o o o w m o t i o n. lol! Whitney had some experience too so it was helpful that one of those chickies were always at one of the tables to lead the rest of us on. Thanks!!
We got the hang of it pretty quickly I think so it was a lot of fun and giggling and stories all night with the saying "what happens at Bunco, STAYS at Bunco" taking a front seat to the silliness. I will take more pics in the future, I PROMISE but for the first official Bunco Party, here they are:
BUT, before you scroll down, take a look around the page here and feel free to make any comments or suggestions right on this sucker. (FYI - I DO NOT and CANNOT get offended so comment/suggest away! I think everyone's input is KEY cuz I want y'all coming back every month and looking forward to having some girly fun :) I posted a list of proposed future dates for the Bunco Shindigs and are open to doing "themed" parties where we all get a great excuse to dress festive or silly and bring appropriate food to match our theme. ALSO, Kelli has a friend who does spray tanning ($20 a pop only!) and since I am such a fan of the "oompa loompa" look and should probably hit the sprayer instead of the bed, I was just thinkin we can have this lady come and spray y'all if y'all are interested?? Whatcha think? If there are a decent amount of you interested, I will have her come and she can set up in my bathroom for privacy so those willing - can get a spray tan!
I think in the future if everyone is receptive to stuff like this, we can come up with all sorts of fun stuff and guests to make Bunco even more exciting!
Well, I'm off to bed but check back frequently because I will post ideas/comments from everyone, links to other Bunco blogs to see what other folks are doing and fun stuff like that. Enjoy the pics! Ciao for now :)
